Protect your access

Before confirming

Review the provider, service details, address, and total amount. If someone requests sensitive information or payment outside the app’s process, stop and contact Support.

During a ride or delivery

Check the request status and the assigned person’s details when available. Use the service chat to coordinate details. If the person or vehicle does not match the information provided, do not proceed until this is clarified.

Tracking depends on the assigned person sharing their location and having a connection. Check the last update time: a point on the map does not guarantee a current location or arrival time.

Share only what is necessary

Send addresses and messages only to people involved in your service. Do not post identity documents, passwords, full card numbers, or CVV codes in chat. If applying for a provider profile, use the private registration area to submit documents.

Report an incident

Contact Support and include the service reference and what happened. Keep relevant messages or receipts. The team may review the case, restrict access, and take steps to protect those involved.

In an emergency

In case of immediate danger in Costa Rica, call 9-1-1. Mi Tamarindo is not an emergency service: do not wait for a chat response to request medical, police, or fire assistance.
